Who we are

JOSH ANDERSON

Josh is a writer, director, producer, actor who has been in the business since the age of 12. A bonafide slashie and graduate of the NIDA BFA program, Josh has spent the last decade or so coaching actors on-and-off film sets, producing film and theatre with some of Australia’s most exciting talent, working as a consultant for production houses developing content for YA audiences, and running Sydney’s premiere elite acting school for young people, The Actors Division. In his spare time, he trains BJJ but isn’t ready to admit that it’s only because he likes dressing up in pyjamas.

Josh loves storytelling, the craft, developing rich characters and making them unique to the actor in front of the camera.

CLAUDIA BARRIE

Claudia is a critically acclaimed director, theatre producer and actor. She’s also a teaching director that has worked for WAAPA, NIDA and The Actors Centre. A graduate of Theatre Nepean, Claudia is the brains behind Mad March Hare Theatre Company, has directed and produced work across the independent and main stages of Australia, and is a bloody good acting coach. When she’s not at the studio, Claudia can be found haunting the neighbourhood with a pair of secateurs, liberating plant cuttings for her garden and the Sticky Tapes studio.

Claudia loves comedy, pathos and finding truth in actors.

CHARLIE

Charlie is a black and white Cavoodle that was sent from heaven, probably. A dog of a thousand names, Charlie answers to Charles, Button, The Bean, Charlie-B, Lamb and Lamby. Her favourite things are belly rubs and dehydrated chicken.

Charlie can often be found at the studio, hanging out as moral support and giving notes on actors’ performances. Be warned, she’s a tough critic.
